On occasion, manufacturers have product shortages that can affect driveline kit items. ODI’s extensive resources and product knowledge allows for hospital approved substitutions and/or single-item, add-ons that may be missing in the hospital’s kit. The goal at ODI is to ensure patients have all items needed for dressing changes and work with patients and hospitals to maintain VAD program protocols.
ODI’s team of logistics specialists and software management allows for real-time product availability. The system alerts staff to low stock items and allows for time to source product from other partners.
