What at-home or remote Monitoring options are available?

ODI’s INRTrac is a full Bluetooth suite of remote monitoring products including INR, blood pressure cuff, scale, thermometer, and pulse oximeter. Through an online portal or app, each patient can transmit their vitals to the hospital in real time. INRTrac allows clinicians to view patient information immediately. Over time, this instant communication has become increasingly important for LVAD patients who are monitoring their INR and blood pressure per recommendation from the FDA.
The in-house ODI diagnostic team is made up of registered nurses and cardiologists that take care of everything from training, relaying telemetry readings, and on-call alerts.
Why is INR so important? Through tracking INR, your clinician can tell if you are at risk of a vascular disease called thrombosis. Thrombosis is caused by the formation of a blood clot inside a blood vessel, obstructing the flow of blood through the circulatory system or LVAD. Blood clots like this can be incredibly dangerous for LVAD patients, which is why at-home monitoring is vital to their outpatient care.
