What type of packages or equipment does ODI offer?

Orthodynamics Company, Inc. (ODI) serves as an extension of the hospital’s VAD team. As a DME (Durable Medical Equipment) and IDTF (Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility), ODI can supply LVAD patients with driveline management kits, equipment, and remote INR/monitoring services. Simply speaking, ODI is a conduit for VAD patients to get what they need when they need it.
With ODI all services are in-house, including the warehouse, which holds over one hundred driveline management kits. The kits are custom made to offer a wide variety of wound care supplies specific to the hospital’s protocol and regional climate influence. Each kit is designed to keep the patient’s driveline clean and free of infection.
Our dedicated account managers act similarly to a basketball point guard, relaying communication and supplies between the hospital, patient, and insurance company. The account manager works directly with the VAD coordinator of each hospital to coordinate procedure and course of action for the patient. From questions to order refills, each patient’s account manager is readily available to the patient when an issue arises. The needs of an LVAD patient differ from a heart failure patient, so our account managers help to make sure each patient’s needs are met and that everyone on their team is up to speed. That personal touch is at the core of ODI’s values. When the patient calls, we have a live person answering. When the patient leaves the hospital to go home, they can trust that there is someone in their corner whenever a need arises. That’s the difference that ODI offers.
